meet the founder.

My name is Nic Samayoa. I’m a creative director, runner, father, and RRCA certified run coach from Southern California. My passion for running stemmed from a challenging time in life when close family members’ declining health became a wake-up call for me. From struggling to run for 15 minutes at a time, I pushed myself to sign up and complete my first marathon just six months later. I've fallen in love with the beauty, the solitude, the struggle, and the reward that I’ve experienced through running.


As a marathon runner, I’ve experienced the vast difference between aimless training blocks and the results that come from working with a coach. Now, I’m passionate about sharing what I’ve learned - the programming, tips and tools about running & fitness and more importantly the profound impact running has had on my mental health and confidence. Running has truly helped me show up as a better father, husband, friend, and coach.
